　　ETS關(guān)于10月23日中國(guó)大陸地區(qū)GRE普通考試的聲明

　　新浪教育訊 據(jù)教育部考試中心網(wǎng)站(http://www.etest.edu.cn/gonggao/20101028/6880.html)及ETS報(bào)名網(wǎng)站(http://www.prometric.com.cn/testtakerapc.asp?page_id=1199)消息 美國(guó)教育考試服務(wù)中心(ETS)現(xiàn)正采取措施解決2010年10月23日在中國(guó)大陸地區(qū)舉行的GRE普通考試錯(cuò)誤重復(fù)使用先前舊試題的事件。為確保GRE考試成績(jī)的效力，ETS艱難地決定取消所有參加2010年10月23日中國(guó)大陸地區(qū)GRE普通考試的考生成績(jī)。ETS將為所有受此決定影響的考生提供以下彌補(bǔ)措施(每生限選一項(xiàng))：參加于2010年11月20日舉行的免費(fèi)重考;或免費(fèi)轉(zhuǎn)考2011年6月11日舉行的GRE普通考試;或全額退還10月23日GRE普通考試的考費(fèi)。ETS將加快2010年11月20日舉行的免費(fèi)重考的成績(jī)報(bào)告速度，最遲于2010年12月10日將此次免費(fèi)重考成績(jī)寄送相關(guān)院校。ETS還將同每位受影響的考生進(jìn)行溝通，考生最晚將于10月30日(本周六)得到有關(guān)此次事件的詳細(xì)說明。ETS為這一獨(dú)立的事件表示遺憾并正采取相關(guān)措施保證今后不再發(fā)生類似事件。

　　Statement on Oct. 23, 2010 GRE® General Test in China

　　ETS is working to resolve an issue with the October 23, 2010administration of the GRE® General Test in China in which apreviously-used edition of the test was mistakenly administered. In aneffort to protect the validity of GRE scores, ETS has made thedifficult decision to cancel all scores resulting from the Oct. 23,2010 GRE administration in China. ETS is providing those GRE testtakers affected by the cancellation the option to either: (a) take amake-up test on Nov. 20, 2010, (b) transfer to the scheduled June 11,2011 GRE administration, or (c) receive a full refund of their GRE testfee for the October 23, 2010 administration. ETS intends to acceleratethe score reporting time frame for the November 20, 2010 make-up sothat test scores may be reported to institutions by Dec. 10, 2010. ETSwill send communications to affected GRE test takers so that they areinformed of these details by Saturday Oct. 30, 2010. ETS regrets thatthis isolated incident occurred and is taking steps to ensure against asimilar occurrence in the future。
