      MANILA, Philippines - China might lose its influence oversmaller states if it will defy the decision of the Permanent Court of Arbitrationon the arbitration case regarding the South China Sea dispute, according to thePhilippines's lead counsel in the case.（菲律賓馬尼拉）

      菲律賓首席法律顧問(wèn)說(shuō)，中國(guó)如果無(wú)視海牙仲裁法庭對(duì)南海爭(zhēng)端的判決，將喪失對(duì)小國(guó)的影響力。

      Manila lead counsel Paul Reichler said in an interview withthe Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative that China is expected to "ventquite a bit" if the tribunal sides with the Philippines.

      "By defying a judgment, particularly if it's aunanimous judgment, particularly if it's well-reasoned, if it's well-explainedand if it is understood and supported by the international community... Chinawill be branded... an international outlaw state," Reichler said.

      Reichler說(shuō)，“拒絕判決，尤其是拒絕一個(gè)一致通過(guò)的、一個(gè)論據(jù)充分的、一個(gè)解釋合理的、一個(gè)得到國(guó)際社會(huì)理解并支持的判決，中國(guó)必會(huì)被打上“國(guó)際逃犯”的烙印。”
