　　1999年4月9日，Westlife的首支單曲 "Swear it Again" 經(jīng)過(guò)簡(jiǎn)單的宣傳便問(wèn)世了，此曲一經(jīng)推出便直達(dá)英國(guó)單曲排行榜的頭名（事實(shí)上，他們?cè)趤喼薜氖聵I(yè)是從1999年6月他們?cè)趤喼尥瞥隽薙wear It Again EP開(kāi)始的），事隔不久，第二首單曲 "If I Let You Go" 和第三首 "Flying Without Wings" 又相繼坐上了排行榜的頭把交椅，這樣的成績(jī)讓剛剛出道的Westlife不僅超過(guò)了他們?cè)��?jīng)為之暖場(chǎng)的Boyzone，更使他們成為了英國(guó)音樂(lè)史上第一支連續(xù)推出三首單曲均獲冠軍的樂(lè)隊(duì)，同時(shí) "Flying Without Wings" 經(jīng)過(guò)對(duì)1千萬(wàn)英國(guó)人的調(diào)查也贏得了1999年最佳年度單曲獎(jiǎng)。
